We had a great time at the Hidden Depths project with Ninja Tune, which sold out Fabric and got us throwing unforeseen shapes in Farringdon. We received extensive education in the low end theory at the Hyperdub event at KOKO. Now, bringing you chapter three in the Hidden Depths series, Tiger Beer & Black Atlantic welcomes one of the UK’s largest independent dance music labels, Hospital Records, to curate their next event. Hospital Records will be tearing up East London Venue XOYO on Wednesday 25th July.
With a lineup of both iconic label mainstays and up-and-coming fresh faces of bass music, Hidden Depths of Hospital includes an exclusive “Modus Operandi” set from jungle and D’n'B titan Photek, to celebrate his mid-90s benchmark album of the same name. Other acts include Hospital’s enduringly popular High Contrast, proto-dubstep innovator Landslide, hotly-tipped newcomers Fred V & Graphix, label mic man MC Wrec, plus Chris Goss, the man behind the magic that is Hospital Records, Swell Session, and Other Echoes.
It’s going to be a banger and it’s bound to sell out, so we recommend getting your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Check the full lineup and event details over at Resident Advisor. & We’ll see you there.
