Our good pals over at Wavey Tones are putting on one hell of a party with promoters Warm this Saturday over at Elephant and Castle venue Corsica Studios. In Room 1, to celebrate the launch of his debut album The Order of Noise, Tri Angle left-of-leftfield techno producer Vessel will be performing one of his infamously brilliant live sets. Supporting are Funkineven; Deft (whose release earlier this year on Dutch label Rwina Records was really very good indeed); The Black Acre’s Romare doing a special live AV set; a mystery guest from Wolf Music, and Wavey resident Unlikely.
Vessel’s Order of Noise is out on October 15th, but you can stream ‘Stillborn Dub’ below.
Meanwhile in Room 2, legendary techno producer John Tejada is also launching an album, The Predicting Machine, his second for German label Kompakt. He’ll be playing live, supported by deep house DJ John Roberts and Warm residents.
For a taste of what’s to come, watch Romare‘s Boiler Room set below.
